Does vim-cmd hostsvc/firmware/sync_config saves vSAN configuration of a particular host?
The story behind this question is following:
I need to replace host's (that is part of vSAN cluster) bootable media. Would it be possible to reinstall ESXi (same built) on new media (SSD) and restore backup made with the command above? Would the vSAN cluster be OK after the hosts reboots?
This procedure works great on non-vSAN cluster as we've done this several times.
