Moving management network to a VLAN

I'm running ESXi 6.7 in standalone mode (no Vsphere). My system has 3 network interfaces, 1 which is the management interface and 1 that is connected to a VLAN enabled switch (I believe I set it to VLAN 4095 in ESXi). The management network interfaces is currently plugged into that VLAN switch one a port set to a specific VLAN so that it gets an IP address on that VLAN's subnet. I'd like to simplify this setup by moving my management network from the dedicated interface to the other interface on the switch (but configure the management interface to a specific VLAN).

I tried this from the management console and it seems relatively simple. Under Management Interfaces, I checked the box for the interface on the VLAN interface (and I left the original management interface, until everything works well on the new one). After I press OK, I get a warning "one or more of the selected adapters are already used for other connections". I canceled at this point because I don't want to disrupt the connection to the VLAN switch on VLAN 4095.

I also saw the Management Interface menu has a setting for VLAN, which I can set to the VLAN I want to the management interface to use, but what should I do about the warning message?
