problem with vsphere client resolution - cant seem to change it

I am running a vsphere client and the os's(linux centos) resolution seems to be always in 640 x480 resolution regardless of how i change the settings in the vsphere client or expand the window etc. Autofit will just make the vsphere client to 640x480 and full screen doesnt work either. i am not sure why this is happening and it is a bit annoying under this resolution

Have you installed VMware tools?

Hope that helps,

Hanna
