Vsphere client locking up

Hello all,

Having a slight issue with my vsphere 4.1 client on my Windows box.  Whenever I open the console of any VM in my infrastructure, the client eithers locks up to where I have to kill it manually or my laptop blue screens.  The blue screen only happens when I try to open a console from the client.  My other counterparts are not having issues at all.

I am still relatively new to vmware so I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or help.

The blue screen error btw is a Stop 0x0000000a related to ntoskrnl.exe

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the communities.

Try uninstalling and then installing the vSphere Client again, or try the Thinapp version to see if it behaves the same way.

Brian thanks for the reply.

I have tried reinstalling the client already several times to no avail.  The thinapp client appears to be only for 4.1 U1and I am running U2 so it asks for an update when I run it.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
