Vmtools upgradation

Hi Friends,

I have a rhel 5 VM which is installed with oracle 10g database. I want to upgrade my vmtools on this particular machine. Is there any issues if i am upgrading the vmtools without shuting down the oracle database?

Haven't seen any. Upgrade went fine on my VMs. And it would be much quicker if you use "./vmware-install.pl --default" command.
