I am trying install the VMware ESXI in newly bulit PC which doesnt have any OS, however it keeps failing
I would like to know wether is this possible or VMware ESXI is only for server

Hi Kumaran,
Welcome to the forums.
You can install ESXi on any machine without any problem as long as your hardware is in the VMware Compatibility Guide. The biggest problem on non supported machines is the disk controller. If your PC is equipped with a controller ESXi doesn't have driver for, you are locked!
If it is just for test purposes, you can install VMware Player then ESXi in a virtual machine.
