Tasks & Events view history limited to last 100 entries?

It seems that the view history for Tasks & Events is limited to displaying only the last 100 entries. I was wondering if there is a way to increase that display limit since I know the history is there if I export the logs. TIA

Go to Edit > Client Settings, select the Lists tab and change the Page Size setting.

Fast forward to v7, using the html5 client and vCenter. 

How to see more than 100 entries per page and more importantly how to export all Events they can be searched, sorted in say Excel?
