MSCS on 1/2 height Blade with only 2 nics

Does anyone run prod Microsoft clusters on ESXi hosts on 1/2 height blades that have only 2 dual port nics?  Nics are already used for Management/vMotion and VM traffic respectively.

I am concerned about adding the MSCS heartbeat network to either of the existing vSwitches.  I don't have an option to add more physical nics unless I use a full-height blade ESXi cluster.

Thanks,

Morrisos

I do run MSCS configurations at some of my clients, but with a dedicated heartbeat due to MS support requirements. With that said, I'm almost sure (technically) you won't have any issues running MSCS on the existing vmnics (I assume you have a dedicated VLAN for this though) since the heartbeat only requires a roundtrip time of <500ms. In addition to the dedicated heartbeat for internal traffic only, I usually configure the production LAN for external as well as internal traffic, so the cluster will even work with the heartbeat being down.
