Hello,
So I create a XP sp3 template using the LSI x86_LSI20320-R driver and all is good. But is it really worth using this driver that will never be updated with VMTools? Would it be better to just live with BusLogic and IDE?
We are going to use Win-XPsp3 in a very large VIEW deployment and I was just think out loud if there is any real preformance gain from using these two drivers in ESXi4.
Thoughts?
LSI is a very good and stable virtual SCSI controller, so there is just no need to update. I seriously doubt that in VDI environment SCSI driver will play significant role.
Don't worry about it. LSI SCSI is the best choice.

Thanks!
One more question, do you know if the LSI driver I listed is indeed the latest one that works for XP32? I only ask this because I had one HELL of a time finding not only a working link but one that worked.
Use this floppy image with driver.
