Hello to everyone,
Today one of my DL360 G6 experienced a "purple screen" (esxi 5.5 hp + applied all patches build: 1892794). Once i restarted the server i noticed a possible problem with the controller (check attachments). Was wondering if anyone could have any ideas regarding the esxi crash or the controller message.
Thank you in advance
Open a service request on HP to analyze the controller and/or upgrade the controller firmware.
Controller firmware is latest , got no more warranty from HP. So this really seems to be a problem with the controller and/or cache/battery ?
Check the smart array controller driver version:
# esxcli software vib list | grep hpsa
There is a known issue with the hpsa driver that can cause PSODs, you should update to the latest scsi-hpsa 5.5.0.60 version. See:
The updated driver is available in this bundle:

Thank you very much MKguy , you are most probably very accurate , I'm going to perform an upgrade in a matter of hours.

The firmware of your controller is 6.40, and according with the following link, there is a firmware version 6.48 available: http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDispl...
Thank you for that link Richardson , that information wasn't presented on the p410i page or dl360 g6 downloads.
