Conversion error Server 2 to ESXi 5

Trying to go from vmware server 2 to ESXi 5.0 using vcenter converter.

Converter gives real general error : invalid fault

On destination ESXi server it creates the machien then removes it giving the error below.

The device or operation specified at index '6' is not supported for the current virtual machine version 'vmx-04'.  A minimum version of 'vmx-07' is required for this operation to succeed.

I have tried google but am coming up empty handedafter a long day.

I will be researching for the next few hours at least.

Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of the Converter dd you use? In case you used version 4.3, please try again with the 5.0 beta.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wonder if it has something to do with the processors, I noticed the beta handels the cpu sockets v cores differently.

It isn't done converting but at least its processing.

I wish i could give you the answer and the helpful points you deserve all of them.
