Skype for Business 2013

We have Skype for Business 2015 baked into the master image. We are trying to get settings to save when changed in the Tools (i.e. Auto start app when I log on..., Audio/Video settings to stay selected to the camera's plugged into the Zero Clients)

Importing and exporting the below registry keys in the application profile:

[IncludeRegistryTrees]

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

[IncludeFolderTrees]

<AppData>\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

<LocalAppData>\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

Here they say the auto startup Lync key is set in the RUN key. Maybe worth a try.

Be careful when capturing RUN keys. Don't capture everything.

Use the [IncludeIndividualRegistryKeys] option in the configuration settings.

Hi,

unfortunately, i do not have Office 2013 in my environment anymore, but if I look at my old config file I have an extra line with

HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Communicator

Maybe worthwhile to test

We use Skype for business as well and the auto start on login was a problem, but as the company requires all employees to be logged into Lync/Skype for Business so I just placed a shortcut in the startup folder in my base image.  Not sure if you will be able to use this option or not.

Also, I have slightly different profile that what you posted.  Not sure if this will help capturing other settings or not:

[IncludeRegistryTrees]

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\Lync

[IncludeFolderTrees]

<AppData>\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

The key was perfect! Looking at what MS posted in that blog was exactly what I needed. Even though the path they have is WAY off, it was a point in the right direction!
