Hi,
I hold VCAP-NV Deploy 2019 certification and there wasn't VCAP-NV Design 2019 at that time,
so I could not get the VCIX-NV certificate; however, credly issued me a VCIX-NV 2019 Milestone badge.
I recently heard that VCAP-NV Design exam is made and you can earn VCIX-NV Certification if you pass
VCAP-NV Design and VCAP-NV Deploy exams.
Therefore, I am curious if I could use my VCAP-NV Design 2019 certification to earn VCIX-NV Certificate
instead of just a milestone badge or if I have to take the 2023 version certifications from the start.
Thank you.
The VCIX requirements are here: https://www.credly.com/org/vmware/badge/vmware-certified-implementation-expert-network-virtualizatio...
Your VCAP is too old for it to qualify you for a shortcut upgrade to the 2023 version, since there is no 2019 path on this page: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcap-nv-deploy.html
So you’re starting from the beginning.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure.
Thank you for clarifying scott28tt 🙂
