vSphere4 installation storage issue!

dear all:

host machine is DELL 2950 with 4 SAS disks in RAID5. We install ESX3 on same box, everything goes fine. Today, we re-install vSphere4 on this, when load to 26%.the error shows: Loading 34.storage-drivers. " the script 34.storage-drivers failed to execute and installation can not continue"

anyone can help?

Do you have the PERC6/i card?

Have you upgrade the firmware? Have you build a Virtual Disk (smaller than 2 TB) before the installation?

Can you please post the log from /var/log/esx_install.log, when the failure happens.

re-install vSphere4 is un-sucessful, how can i collect log for this?

You can get to a shell by hitting ctl-alt-F2, and then look inside of "/var/log/weasel.log".

The two physic nics were disabled in BIOS. after enable them, we can smoothly install vsphere again.
