I never have either until last week when I needed to delete the 1000v to reinstall it.
doesn't removing them from the vCenter server through add and remove programs remove them, also check add and remove in your local client machine.
Hi a2alpha,
thanks for your reply. sadly i have no entry under add/remove programs on both, client and vcenter server.

hi dan,
never mind. thanks for your help so far. strange thing is that obviously no one else except me had this problem bevor (or i am to stupid to use the search engine)

No I can't see anything either except this post. Probably everyone is still in the midst of their trial periods and haven't come to uninstall them yet!
You would have to go into the MOB to do it
http:
ip of vc server\mob
Click on content, then on Extention manager, find the extention in your list and then click on unregister Extention , Put the extention name in from previous screen, click Invole Method and Viola!
nice one virtualchic, I've never seen that area before.

Hi virtualchic,
thank you very much, this solved the question. very nice finding.
Best regards,
Bjoern
p.s. marked the wrong post as "correct answer" look for the post from "Sep 17, 2009 8:06 AM" to get the right answer.
Virtualchic - Thank you!!!
Nothing like a year old post that is exactly what you need after hours. I had not seen this area before either. Very cool stuff.
Might be ages since the original post, but also a thanks to virtualchic from me... I had a duff HP plugin that was uninstalled, but still existed in the list that I wanted to get rid of ("com.hp.insight"), and this worked perfectly for me! 🙂
Would never have found that without this thread!
Steve
THANK YOU! And yes I was screaming!!!
