Error checking system compatibility for update

Hello to you,
I get an error when I select the VC upgrade option from version 8.0.2 to 8.0.2.A
The error is: VMDir is not in normal state
I am attaching the error here, and I would appreciate it if anyone encountered this error during the upgrade attempt.
Thanks in advance

@ar5566 To work around this issue:

  1. Set the DFL of the affected node to 4 with the following command.
/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/dir-cli domain-functional-level set --level 4 --login Administrator@vsphere.local --domain-name vsphere.local

Note: Update vsphere.local to match your SSO domain name.
  1. Restart the vmdir service on all linked vCenter nodes.
service-control --restart vmdird

Note: Restart vmdir on all nodes only after updating the DFL of all the nodes in the ELM topology. Otherwise, vmdir will fail to start on the nodes which have a higher DFL than their partners.

I am having this exact same problem trying to upgrade from 8.0.2.00100 to 8.0.2.00200, VMDir state looks normal from the CLI but not when I'm trying to upgrade. I also issued the commands you suggested anyway to see if it would make a difference but the problem still persists.

Do you have any other suggestions please?
