We have a ASUS Z9 PE-D8-WS Motherboard.
We have a LSI Megaraid SAS 9240-4i Raid Controller with a Raid 1 configuration.
Without the raid card the installer runs and installs just fine.
As soon as we connect the raid controlled the installer fails loading tools.t00 with a Fatal Error 10 “out of resources”
If we change a few of the storage OpROM settings it will then pass this error, but instead freezes when it tries to load the megarais_sas drivers during the next step of the install.
I have been working on this for days now, every fix seems to cause one of the 2 above error’s.
Bios has been updated to latest version and im installing a windows OS now to update the firmware on the raid card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE:
If I install the ESXI onto a normal drive it works without issue.
If I then install the raid controller and boot. It detect the controller without any issue and allows me to make and use a data store.
