VI SDK and Linked mode questions

I'm using VI SDK java to find out the following:

1) Is there any method available to find out the list of vCenters linked by connecting to a vCenter?

2) How to get the vCenter Service Status details which i can see in vSphere client?

3) Is it possible to know whether the vCenter is using the local database or remote?

1) afaik, this is not exposed through the vSphere API's, hence it will not be available in the Java bindings

2) The 'services' that are listed is actually part of extensions that have been add in vSphere to monitor the various sub-componets, such as services running with vSphere. You'll need to access the extensionManager and you should be able to obtain the same information, take a look here: http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk400pubs/ReferenceGuide/vim.Extension.html#health...

3) I don't think you can obtain this as the actual VCDB connection is not exposed
