RCLI/resxtop not able to connect to ESXi host

I am geting following error when I try to connect(run resxtop) to

ESXi host from my Ubuntu 7.04 Desktop whch a guest OS with NAT on a

diferent machine.

Login failed, reason: SSL Exception: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number

I also installed Crypt-SSLeay and libdev-ssl

Not sure where exactly is the problem, and how to fix it. any help is much appreciated.

Does it has something to do with free version of ESXi/RCLI ?

Hi,

This problem will appear if SSH is not enabled in the ESXi.Please have a look at http://www.run-virtual.com/?s=esxi.
