Update Manager Plugin Exception

So was working up some workflows that utilize the Update Manager plugin and I noticed that suddenly I am receiving the following exception on two different vCO instances (One vApp and One Windows):

vcoError.png

I have also attached the log from the server.  If I remember correctly, I didn't have this issue prior to the upgrade on the vApp and the Windows instance is a fresh install.

Hi James,

I wasn't sure what did you upgrade? Is it VUM or VCO or something else. Aslo, what are the versions of vCO and VUM that you are using?

Thanks,

Igor.

Upgrade of vCO.  I am using 4.2.1 on both instances.  VUM is 5.0.0.11856.

Interesting! Not sure what might be the issue. We will look further and try to figure out. VUM plugin configuration is related to the vCenter configuration. Is everything with your vCenter alright and working?

An interesting detail is that the current vCO VUM plugin works against VUM4.1 and should not work against VUM5.0:

It looks like, the plugin worked for you against VUM5 (not sure how).  The vCO VUM Plugin supporting VUM5.0 would be actually released in the mid of June (in 3-4 weeks).

We will take a look more into the log and let you know if we find out something.

Thanks,

Igor.

Funny thing. That would make sense since I was updating these workflows that built for our old cluster and vCenter. Wasn't even thinking about the VUM versions. Hahaha. Thanks!
