vCenter database grows 2-3gb daily

We are running ESX v3.0.2 utilizing vCenter v2.0.2 and have 42 hosts with 873 vm workstations on a single vCenter server. The vCenter server is running 2K3 with SQL 2000 SP3. The issue we are encountering is that the database seems to grow 2-3gb daily. We have the statistics level set to 1 and are logging only warnings and errors. We have minimized the data within the logs to only the past 60 days and the database is still 40gb in size. We are not running any clusters or pools at this time. We do also run an API script that reboots all the workstations daily, but the increase in dbase size appears to happen in the morning prior to any of the reboots occurring. We also have several hosts that can see the same disk (approximately 20 of the hosts can all see the same 16 attached LUNs). Any ideas on what could be causing the growth?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Set the DB log recover mode to "Simple" and truncate the log once. You should be fine after that.

Hope this helps.
