Hi,
we are installing a new virtual center server to split our datacenters in two. We are trying to see if we can install it in Windows 2008 (not supported, I know). However the installation of Virtual Center itself and the convertor are no problem, but when we try to install the update manager he starts to install but when he tries to write the database settings into the registry, the installation rolls back.
We've tried so far:
- Give all users rights on the key
- Import the key from an other server and install the product again
- remove the UAC from the server
Has anybody managed to install this on a Windows 2008 server?
