We receive tons of Event ID 1000
Issue is High cpu and cannot rdp to vm. it is s a virtual machine. Noticed that the vpxd-profiler.log had tons of calls to the Performance manager API from account: Svc-vmmon but we use this account on multiple vcenter servers. Lastly the version were on is 5.5.0.43013. I'm not sure what else to check?
Yes, since you are not seeing vpxd.log file in the default location, I doubt there configuration would be different. Just to reconfirm the log location, you need to check vpxd.cfg file.
The second screenshot talks about LDAP permission.
Which account is used for running vcenter server service ? Local account or any service account?
Was there any recent changes to that account?
Can you try with different account /local account to run vCenter server service.
Also check if this solution helps
I'll ask our other team members if anything changed, but we've always used this account and is working correctly on other vcenter servers.
My VMwareVCMSDS is already running.
Can you post vpxd.log snippets , for errors related to this events.

Suresh

looks like you posted vpxd profiler log , can you check for vpxd.log
C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs.
i don't have just a vpxd.log
Goto this location C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter and search for key word log in the vpxd.cfg file and ensure the logging directory is default. If it shows different location then you may find the file in that location.
sorry are you saying you want me to open up vpxd.cfg and search for key word "log"?
Yes, since you are not seeing vpxd.log file in the default location, I doubt there configuration would be different. Just to reconfirm the log location, you need to check vpxd.cfg file.
Were you able to find the cause of the issue from logs ? is it resolved ?
