I am setting up the alarms in my vCenter server, and have noticed that at least some alarms trigger immediately despite having a value of 5 minutes for the Condition Length. I have confirmed with performance graphs that the spikes in disk or network usage do happen briefly, but they are definitely not sustained for more than a couple seconds. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Any suggestions for resolving the issue?
