Thinapp bad exe format

We are configuring the thinapp integration, we have set the correct share name but when we press the sync now button on the web GUI I can't see the desired thinapp package.

On the connector I find the following error on the /var/log/messages.

error importing thinapp package (Package name could not be parsed). Error code : 193 (ERROR_BAD_EXE_FORMAT)

Which thinapp version you are using ? Thinapp version 5 isn't supported on workspace 1.5

In the VMWARE END USER COMPUTING BLOG I read:

Q: Will applications virtualized with ThinApp 5.0 integrate with the current version of Horizon Workspace (1.5.x)?

A: Yes, but only 32-bit applications. A later version of Horizon Workspace will integrate ThinApp 5.0 64-bit virtualized applications.

The KB 2063396 says

ThinApp application type	Horizon View compatibility	Horizon Workspace compatibility
ThinApp 5.0 32-bit applications	Compatible with all Horizon View versions	Compatible with all Horizon Workspace versions

Now I'm trying to relink the packages with 4.7.2 but it seems not work

Yep, but I guess that's a mistake which vmware has made and will fix that document at somepoint. been there done that

try to build your application completely with 4.7

Use ThinApp 4.7.3. That is the best ThinApp version for Horizon Workspace 1.5
