How to delete a child disk and submit the change to its parent in the parenet-disk chain with VixDiskLib?

For example, there a base vmdk A0, and it's child disk A1, and A1's child A2.

A0.vmdk <- A1.vmdk <- A2.vmdk

What I want to do is

1) commit the changes in A1 to A0, and delete A1.

2) Still can open the parent-child disk chain from A2.

How to achieve this?

VixDiskLib does not currently have a function which does the 'combining'.
