VMWare - detach/attach after VMDKs which is located old location

Hi Guys,

I have completed File Server migration moving VMDK. But it is still stored in the old location like below. My question is : Lets say , I didn't Storage vMotion. if I remove from disk old VM then what will be happening ? So will this VMDKs delete ?

Disks:

F: Old Location :(FILESERVER_OLD\filesrv_1.vmdk)

G: Old Location :(FILESERVER_OLD\filesrv_2.vmdk)
