I am using govmomi to connect to a vCenter, when I connect I have access to ServiceContent, where I can see some about info. Is there any way with that info to identify which VM the vCenter is running on?
I cant use the ip/hostname I used to connect to search for the VM because that is being forwarded to the internal ip. I can connect through example.vcenter.com and that is forwarded to 192.168.1.10.
I tried using the instanceUuid found in ServiceContent.about but that does not seem to match the instanceUuid found for the VM.
