vSAN Trial License

Hi Guys,

Maybe a dumb question here.

I have deployed VCSA 6.0 U2 with ESXi 6.0 U2 and wanted to test vSAN. When i went to get a trial license, I signed up for an evaluation, but the only i option I had on the evaluation page was to download the windows version of VC.
Is there a way when I sign up for an eval to just get the vSAN license key without having to go and create a new windows VC?

Thanks

DC

Good morning, my understanding is that the eval happens when you don't enter any licensing.  You can try anything for 30 days.  As soon as you enter in your license, it locks you down.  You would need to remove your current license, assuming you're still within the eval period.  Thank you, Zach.

Thanks,

But it looks like the evaluation i have for vSphere does not include the vSAN license, and to get get vSAN going i have to install the evaluation which strangely is only windows VC.
