Did anybody get experience with performance impacts of resync operations ?
one of our vXRail systems suffered a failure of a cache disk and operations of an FSlogix-VM became partially unresponsive when the resynchronisation started.
The vm was protected with FTT=1 . The nodes are AV connected with 25GB network. In the time when the disk failed before the resync operation started the vm worked without problems.
AFAIK FSlogix workloads have no special storage requirements. I am not sure if this is a problem of hardware performance because the resynchronisation is normally throttled by default. I know it is possible to reduce the IOPS but as mentioned I assume this is not the problem.
