Is there any unique id for a vCloud Director instance, like about::instanceUuid for a VCenter host (https://code.vmware.com/apis/217/doc/vim.AboutInfo.html)?
As I see, GeneralSettings::InstallationId is just an integer and it's not suitable for that. I'm also thinking about using SiteType::id (https://code.vmware.com/apis/553/vmware-cloud-director/doc/doc/types/SiteType.html) for this purpose, but I'm not sure it will work in all cases.
