vSphere Web Client (Flash) crashes and loops

Jump to solution

"vSphere Client (HTML5) - partial functionality" works, but as it says, it only has partially functionality.

I have tried from several devices... The flash version crashes on all.

Anyone idea where to look for problems?

Regards, Lars.

Adobe has posted a beta version of Flash for all systems which resolves this issue and incorporates the fixes from build 170.

I suspect that you've run into either this issue or a variant of it.  Are you using Chrome? Have you tried other browsers?

Thanks

I have tried both Chorme and IE.

I am having the same version of pepperFlash as described in your link.

Hope to get a Flash Update soon then.

This is for heads up, if you are using windows 2016 RTM standard/datacenter GUI version, you should need to enable flash player. Flash player pre-installed within IE. Even you try to install it wont allow you to install.

Here is the FIX

dism /online /add-package /packagepath:"C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Adobe-Flash-For-Windows-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0.mum"

After you installed, you need to reboot your PC/VM. You will be good to go....

Hope this helps if you are using windows 2016 RTM
