The previous admin of our environment has setup two VM's with CBT. I understand why it was done (running MS SQL) but is change block tracking not only for storage? I do not want to do a storage vmotion, I want to migrate the compute resources only. Right now we can not automate our upgrade processes through lifecycle management because it will always fail. It is beyond annoying to have to shut down the SQL server, quickly move the compute resource and fire it back up.
We are running on the latest vCenter 8.0.1a and on ESXi 7.0.3i in this case as I am planning to upgrade to 7.0.3m.
