vCenter update to 7.0.3o from 7.0.3d stuck at %93

Hi everyone,

We have a problem while updating vcenter server from 7.0.3d to 7.0.3o.

The installation has stucked at %93 and get error message below. We could not resume and cancel the task. Rebooting the appliance did not resolve the stage.

We have to restore from backup of vcenter appliance after the issue occured. Is there anyone faced with the issue and know the solution ?

The best trick would be to keep a snapshot of the appliance before retrying.

Hi,

I had similar problem in the past. Start to see log file: /var/log/vmware/applmgmt/update_microservice.log and check disks space on VCenter because it can be root cause for this problem (clean disks using procedure: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/83070)
