vCenter 5.0.0 Change Subnet Mask

Hi,

We have a 5.0.0 build-3891027 vCSA in use. We need to reboot it recently but when it came back up (using vSphere Client directly on a host) we cannot access it via IP, can't even ping it. The Console start page shows the IP as being what it's always been, and during boot I can see if using that IP, although we have a 'waiting' status in yellow.

Once it's back up if I login via vSphere Client, then get to a command line and run ifconfig I can see eth0 is showing the subnet mask as 0.0.0.0. I also can't ping anywhere from the vCSA console.

How can I fix the subnet mask?

Thanks

Sod's law, figured it out after posting...

I checked the etc/sysconfig/network/eth0-cfg file and it had 10.0.0.0 as the mask, so changed it to what it should be, saved, rebooted and all good.
