upgrade VCSA with embedded PSC in HA config, additionally a linked VCSA

Hi everbody,

I have one main VCSA 6.7 that is running in HA mode and I have a linked VCSA 6.7 to it.

Both are patched to the latest patch.

I would like to upgrade this config to a VCSA version 7, while maintaining as much as possible the given setup.

I could not find a KB article that covers these two scenarios separately, and I would not expect there is a document that covers the integrated scenario.

Would anyone have a word of advice on how to proceed?

Grateful in advance!

You can't maintain it, the instructions have you delete it

Hi sjesse,

Thank you for pointing that article ...

I too thought that HA would need to be undone for the purpose of the updgrade. I will just have to redo it again... which should not be too hard.

Thanks !

If you know of a way to upgrade the linked vCenter scenario I would be utmost grateful!

Errata ...

The Upgrade process from 6.7 to 7 does actually consider HA and it rebuilds the HA config for you:

Here is the link to a KB describing the upgrade process:
