Vcenter Server AD change to the new Domain

Hello Team

I sincerely need a  help with changing the domain of a vCenter Server

Here is a summary of the current configurations performed:

1- Four esxi Hosts with 24TB

2-Only one subnets used for all services ( Management,vMotion, vsphere replication ,vSAN , FT logging)

3-One VSAN cluster  contains the four ESXI HOSTS with 83 TB as vSAN Datastore

4-Two Distribution Switches one for Data-Switch which contains three Distributions ports groups ( Management,vMotion and Data ), vSAN_SWITCH is the DS for vSAN traffic

Here is the summary task I plan to do for the new configuration

  1. Back up the vCenter Server database and the vCenter Server configuration files.
  2. Unjoin the vCenter Server host machine from the domain.
  3. Change the hostname of the vCenter Server host machine.
  4. Change the IP address
  5. Change  each ESXI host Ip adress and domain name
  6. Rejoin Vcenter server to domain controller for SSO
  7. Create Four Distributions Switches DATA_SWITCH with these differents ports group ( Management,VM Production ,Fault Tolerange )

vSAN_Switch ,VMotion_Switch,Vsphere Replication_Switch

I would like to know once I changed if the VSAN cluster services will be remain and all configuration relatif of VSAN , VSAN Datastore

I had something almost the same in my working experience. But at that time I was just a spectator not even an assistant with all of that.

Everything that I remember is that it was really painful and took too much time for such actions.

All these IP changes, DNS.

More or less here is a good article
