The /storage/log filesystem is low on disk space or inodes

Hello,

can anybody help with this errror message in my vCenter Appliance 6.0.0

I have one big file in this place. After reboot it is good for only one day.

total 1938852

But i'm not shure if it is harmful do delete:

Did somebody knows it ?

Hi ,

You may download the log to local system and delete also please refer below KB  to understand how to manage the logs /storage/log folder .

VCSA 6.5 shows The /storage/log filesystem is out of disk space or inodes

What do we do if the lines to be modified in the 'log4j.properties' file do not exist?

We are running into a similar issue where by the storage/log/vmware/sso is at 100%

VCSA version 6.0.0.30100

You need to first determine what exactly is consuming the space before you attempt to solve it.

Use du -sh * | sort -nr and determine which dir is consuming more space.
