vmmon version mismatch with VMware Workstation 6.5.1 X86_64 in Linux kernel 2.6.28 Please help fix

Hello,

I am using Arch Linux X86_64,

I have the problem with the latest version fo vmware Workstation. When i try to run a vm i get the following error:

-vmmon version mismatch expected 208.0 got 161.0

I have tried to compile the vmmon using the .sh provided on my distributions wiki page for VMware Workstation but no luck.

Please someone help me solve this.

Got it to work. Thanks for no help at all.

I had to run depmod -a and then restart the vmware services.
