unable to access to a new VM

Sorry if this question  is not appropriate here.But I need help..

I have a new VM. It is not accessible from another network.A ping test does work from another  VM  on the same subnet,  but not from another network..Which one   is the possible problem?  I'm thinking it might be

Incorrect subnetting

incorrect host IP adr

incorrect VLAN

incorrect gateway.

Yes to all of those

Firstly check what the connection type is for the VM network adapter. After that confirm what GW has been set within the VM and that you can ping it.
