question about importing OVF files to workstation 10

hi, everyone, i have a question about importing OVF files to workstation 10

OVF files were exported from vCenter (VM runs with W2003), I wanted to import OVF into VM workstation 10 on a newly setup PC

But when i did it, there was an error popped up, said 'The import failed because .ovf did not pass the OVF specification conformance or virtual hardware compliance checks'

I clicked 'Retry', but result was ' Failed to open OVF descriptor'

So is there anybody have encountered this situation before and could help me out?
