configuration of the hardware UUID for VMs

Hello,

I used in the last 10 years VBox. Now the VBox dosn't correct support the new Windows 10 and I will test VMware Workstation Pro.

In VBox I can set the hardware UUID with VBoxManager to suppress the reset from the Windows activiation.

Exist a solution for VMware Workstation Pro to set hard the hardware UUID? I need this for testings and so, that I must not reset the Microsoft Keys every mounth.

Thanks for our Help,

Bernd

This article may help:

Changing or keeping a UUID for a moved virtual machine (1541) [10th May 2020]

Also, should you have a moment or two . . .

Thanks,

with this I can configure the UUID and deactivation of the change from this. But after cloning of this VM is this changed. Also the save of the files in a backup and restore late or rename of the folder, the hardware UUID is changed.

Now I can change it every time per hand, that is not what I will and what I need. Every time I must reactivation the Microsoft activation and this is not practically.
