Workstation 6-Ubuntu Server 10.10

Hi friends:

I have workstation 6 for install on ubuntu server 10.10, but wheI run vmware-install.pl, it fails because can't build the vmmon module. I have seen that there are patch for other versions of ubuntu and workstation... My kernel is 2.6.35-22-server.

What can I do???

WS 6 with such a new kernel ? - not sure if that is possible ...

Better use an older kernel or use WS 7.1.2 - even for that version you need a kernel patch.

Now I have ubuntu 8.04 with kernel 2.6.24-26-server... but I have still the same problem!! what can I do?? there are patch for it?? thanks!!
