Vmware Workstation 8.0.1 - Problem with keyboard typematic rate (keyboard auto-repeat rate)

In vmware workstation 8.0.1 as well as in vmware workstation 8.0 is the problem with keyboard typematic rate (keyboard auto-repeat rate) still present.

The keyboard (typematic rate) in the guest is too slow at maximum settings (in guest-BIOS and in guest-Windows).

The cursor does not move only slowly, but with jumps.

It is easily noticeable if you press and hold in Editor (Notepad) any key or move the text with cursor keys.

Host: Win7x64 8Gb AMD Phenom II X4 955.

Guest: WinXPx86 1Gb.

The vmware tools are up to date.

Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Thanks!

Nobody else noticed this problem?

If you just read this thread, it does not help to attract the attention of developers to fix this problem in the new update !!! Smiley Sad

Thanks!

I'm seeing the same problem, especially at the command prompt of any windows virtual machine, but also

in windows applications.

I've booted to bios, set it higher, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

This is like 2400 Baud all over again.

8.0.4 build-744019

Still a problem a year later.

I'm now on version 9.0.1 and still laggy cursor when using keyboard arrow keys.

Keyboard over-run (let up on key, cursor continues to move for a half second).
