VMWare Workstation & Wireless Internet?

Hi im new to virtual machines, my main computer ("host" i believe we call it), is connected to my router via a wireless adapter.

When I turn on my VM (same OS), windows cant even find any networks, as if the VM thinks no network adapter exists or something. I tried install the driver for it but no luck, what can I do to solve this issue? Its very important that I have access to the internet from my VM as well as the main host.

Thanks!

Host OS? Guest OS? Workstation version?

How have you configured the virtual ethernet adapter's connection mode (bridged/host-only/nat/other)?

Your guest will ALWAYS see a wired network card - either an AMD PCNet Lance NIC, a VMware Accelerated Lance NIC, or an Intel E1000 NIC. Refer to the Guest OS Installation Guide for details.
