ran into an issue today after upgrading to VMW 10 on linux, was wondering if its known about or just me. 
guest is a clone image of win7, licensed and updated to current. VM appears snappy and responsive. Installed Photo Shop CS6 without issue, upon launching the application it locks up the VM at the splash screen. It becomes unrecoverable and rebooting is the only way to recover.
This did not happen on VMW 9. Thinking perhaps a conversion caused some issues, I created a new win7 guest using or corporate image installer (same one deployed everywhere, VM or PY) and was able to re-create the issue.
As a test I re-installed VMW 9 and confirmed the issue did not exist.
Host system is a 12 core, 32 gig system running on kernel version 2.6.32-358 (el6).
