VM is taking too much time to boot

Hi All,

I am running CISCO IOS XRv in VMware PRO with i7+16GB RAM laptop. It is taking 20min boot and give the console.

I have allocated 6GB to the VM but still it is taking 15-20 min to boot.  CPU is less than 10% and memory is 20% .Virtulization is already enabled in the BIOS.

Anybody having this same issue and how to make an improvement in the booting time?

Thanks in advance...

Thanks,

Arun Mohan

The Cisco IOS XRv Router is hypervisor agnostic. The demo image, provided without support, is suitable to deploy on a laptop or on a server that meets the requirements outlined below. For production image, VMWare ESXi 5.0 or later is the only supported hypervisor. For simulation mode, the supported hypervisors are VMWare ESXi 5.0 or later or QEMU 1.0

I know nothing of this VM, but the docs clearly state that ESXi is the only supported hypervisor. Workstation Pro is not supported.
