Using Solaris NVIDIA driver on a Solaris 10 x86 guest - Workstation 6.0.4

Since I haven't received any replies to another post, I thought that I would ask a very simple question in the hopes of getting a helpful answer. I am considering buying 20+ VMware licenses, but have to get this test case to work in order to do so.

In a Vmware Workstation environment with a Solaris 10 x86 64-bit guest on a WinXP 32-host, can Solaris recognize the installed Solaris NVIDIA video drivers? Or can Solaris only see the VMware video drivers? The latter seems to be the case.

Thank you...

Only VMware video. Video is emulated, no passthrough possible.

Using the VMware video dirvers, then, do you know of a way I can configure the Xserver to support an 8-bit pseudocolor visual? I need to run Xnest with a preudocolor visual.
