Are any of the binary extents, "Windows XP Professional-s001.vmdk" through "Windows XP Professional-s305.vmdk", missing or 0 bytes in size?

If a vmware.log file is created which contains information about the issue, please attach this to a reply post.

Other than this, please double check that you are not missing any of the .vmdk files as mentioned by WoodyZ. The command dir *.vmdk in the VM's folder should return 306 files, the descriptor .vmdk file as well as the 305 data .vmdk files.
