The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system.

Hi,

I have a very fresh Windows 7 machine with intel Core i5 3750 processor and Gigabyte B75M-D3H M/B mother board, RAM is 8GB.

I have VMware Workstation 7.1.3. Installation of VMware workstation was successful. When tried creating a new VM of Ubuntu 12.04, i got following error::

"The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point."

Please advice.

Paresh
